Convenient and innovative time stamps: no more tickets needed!

The time stamps, introduced in the summer of 2024, offer simplified use for users thanks to a more ergonomic approach (touch screen, speed).

These new devices simply require users to enter their license plate number: Once payment has been made, there is no need to wait for a ticket: a short message confirms that payment has been made and parking has been registered! This means you no longer need to display a time-stamped ticket on your dashboard.

Recording the license plate number at the parking meter then allows public road surveillance officers (ASVP) to verify that a parking permit is valid, using a specific control tool. By scanning the vehicle's license plate, ASVP officers can see the recorded end time of the parking period.

In partnership with PayByPhone and Easypark, the City of Orleans offers users the option of paying for parking remotely, using geolocation, as well as adjusting their parking time according to their needs. Digital payment is based on actual parking time, not the time initially planned!
